In one of the last songs that she recorded “Por Si Acaso No Regreso,” Celia Cruz tells the story about the sorrow of dying far from her homeland.                  

When Celia Cruz fled Cuba for México in 1960, and then subsequently went to live a life of exile in the United States leaving her family and friends behind.                     

Celia Cruz said that she would return at any moment, as the end of her life approaches, she realizes that she would never return to her home in the neighborhood of Santos Suárez in Havana, Cuba.
