I leave you now with these words of a song sung by “La Guarachera de Cuba” Celia Cruz, that reach the bottom of my heart.

In one of the last songs that Celia Cruz recorded, Por Si Acaso No Regreso (Por si acaso no regreso Yo me llevo tu bandera Lamentando que mis ojos Liberada no te vieran...)

Celia Cruz tells the story about the sorrow of dying far from her home on the island of Cuba, where she was born on October 21, 1925, and lived the first and most tender years of her life.

When Celia Cruz fled the Fidel Castro's communist revolution to Mexico City with the orchestra La Sonora Matancera in July 1960, and then subsequently went to live a life of exile in the United States.

Celia Cruz said that her wish was to return to a “Free Cuba” at any moment, as the end of her life approaches, she realizes that she would never return to her home on the beautiful island of Cuba.
